WHAT IS A PUP-UP PET EVENT PORTRAIT?
Pup-up Pet Event Portraits are The PAWtographers' signature style pet portraits in which we photograph pets as a fundraising event for a specified charity.
Events we have attended with our Pup-Up Pet Event Portrait tent include, Mutt Market, Canine Carnivale, Woofstock and Tails & Trails.
ALL PROCEEDS, go to the charity specified for that particular event. We do not sell anything at these events; it is all for charity and our way of giving back to the pets that give us soooo much in our lives.
We're thrilled to say that we have raised thousands for rescues.
PUP-UP PET PORTRAIT EVENT FAQs
HOW DO YOU SIGN UP?
These events are walk-up events. No reservations needed.
When you come up to the tent, we will have a QR code for you to scan with your phone. From there, you will pay the $20/dog donation and enter in your dog's name, a breed or mix, coloring, and your name and email.
MY PHONE WON'T SCAN THE QR CODE/I DON'T HAVE ANY CONNECTION WITH MY PHONE AT THE LOCATION HAAALP
No worries. We can do two things:
- Go ahead and have your pet's portrait taken and fill out the form later. We will have a URL you can write down to go to the form when you have reception.
- Pay in cash --we will have a clipboard with a paper form for you to fill out and make a cash donation, if you'd like.
Just remember, if we don't have your email address, we can't send you a link! So don't forget!
WHY DO YOU NEED MY EMAIL?
We need your email so that we can send you a link to your pet's finished digital image file.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It is a $20/pet donation. When you go into the form, there is also the option to add on 90 cents to cover the credit card processing and transaction fees, so that ALL of your $20 donation goes to the charity.
CAN I PRINT THE IMAGE?
Yes! You will receive a hi-res digital file for printing up to 8x10.
WHAT WILL MY DOG'S IMAGE LOOK LIKE?
Our Pup-up Pet Event Portraits all have a custom designed border to highlight the event sponsor and the charity.
CAN I PICK OUT MY DOG'S IMAGE?
The images are all artist's choices -- we move dogs quickly through the tent (maximum of three minutes per dog) -- so we photograph until we know we have the pawfect image.
CAN I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE IMAGE?
Yes! Let us know when you bring your dog in that you're interested in more than one image. OR, if your dog knocks it out of the park with several cute expressions, you can tell us which one's you'd like.
CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH MORE THAN ONE DOG IN AN IMAGE?
We use a very small set up for these events, so we are sorry but we need to photograph only one dog in the set at a time.
